Hilary has been in the company for over 10 years. Previously holding positions of CallScripter Helpdesk Manager and GUI Designer, Hilary is now a Synergy Software Tester.

What does your job entail day to day? User Acceptance Testing of CallScripter Synergy. Basically, I use the software as if I were the intended audience to detect any bugs or identify areas that could be improved.

What do you look forward to when you come into work in the morning? Drinking a hot cup of tea, plus the sarcasm helps!

What has working in this industry taught you? The technology industry never stands still, so development of new software is an ongoing and ever-changing job.

What is your view on introducing social media capabilities to the product? Excellent, now I just have to learn how to use it, to test it.

What is your role when a new feature/integration is being developed? I have to try and break it 🙂

In your view, what is the most valuable feature of Synergy? It’s quick and very easy to use.

What can you see in the future of Customer Service? As we increasingly use social media in our personal lives, it has inevitably become a core part of business, especially in the communications sector. I predict the rapid growth of social communications as new software is developed to manage the customer service aspect.
